Down Dog is the template to work into Plank, Spiderman, Glute-gate and more. Strengthen the whole body especially arms, shoulders, wrists, upper back, abs and glutes in this quick whole body yoga sequence which will get your breath flowing. A warm down will stretch out your shoulders and wrists.
TIP: If you find Down Dog challenging for your wrists, roll up a mat or bath towel and place it across the front of your mat and place the palm heels on it with the fingers and knuckles on the floor to reduce the angle at your wrists. Or buy a wrist wedge as it can be useful while your wrists get used to this position.
