Neck, Shoulder and Upper Back Release with Michele
Stay safe when injured
•
27m
Michele will take you through a series of stretches to lengthen, open and release tension in your neck, shoulders, trapezius, deltoids and spine.
The mainly floor based sequence will take you through poses that deliver traction and circulation to the spine and neck. Breath based micro-movements benefit the nervous system helping to release blockages and allowing energy to flow more freely throughout the body.
Wrists, arms and elbows are opened up to help reduce tension that can manifest in the neck. We end with an assisted relaxation stretch and deep breathing to help create lasting changes in the upper body.
Level - all levels
Props needed - Yoga strap or long dressing gown belt, a yoga block or large book and a thin yoga pad, cushion or thinner book
