This entirely floor based yoga/physiotherapy class will reach deeper in to muscle, joints and attachments, releasing and stretching deeply. Release your hips, legs, spine, neck, shoulders and wrists deeply and softly. Retreat INward to deep relaxation. A Down Dog sequence will warm up back, arms and hands, our fluid leg stretching sequence leaves no muscles un-stretched and we gradually wind down into longer, slower holds to affect deep changes in body, mind and soul. Open tight areas with the use of props. A restorative relaxation allows for us to recharge our batteries and reconnect.
Level - suitable for any level of practice - great for newcomers and anyone injured
Props needed - two blocks, a thin block (or improvise with whatever you have at home like two big books, a rolled up towel or a few cushions) and a yoga strap (or dressing gown belt or two tied together), and a blanket
